Good thing I used my damn head and started shooting Ad Nihilos every turn I used a limit so I could guarantee it did big damage.
Anyway, I feel like Elder Dragon can be kind of easy, I went there just to see how it was and it seems my party can fight it reasonably well.
Decided to explore Cyclopean Haunt, and I'm loving it. The dungeon is awesome and the music is pretty cool, too, the only gripe I'm having is that the battles so far are too easy (still on the first floor though). Does it get harder?
Also I'm not sure if I should do all the post game shit now or do a New Game+. I'm guessing Abyssal God is a nightmare with a "normal" party, right?

I know someone always says this, but yes it's doable, and without grinding. The power break LS skill is a massive help, and I stacked it with the Arcanist damage debuff, using my buff slots for anti-fire and offence. In general status effects and binds are massive versus dragons. Physical multihits will sometimes fuck you, so you want those cheap turns to recover in.
I felt pretty smart, but couldn't take down the final two postgame bosses without grinding to fuck.

Ketos gets awesome buildup and is a motherfucking telepathic whale, but he's also a bit cheap if you didn't pack a Princess. I genuinely don't know how else you're supposed to handle all that sleep spam.
In contrast, pic related, even if you aren't psychic enough to guess that Retibution = fire, can be tackled with several approaches. Also love Hollow Queen and THAT bridge fight, mainly in the remake on expert where it's a serious threat.
