Im not super into the colour and haven't really noticed much of a big difference in color, but in refresh rates there is a very noticeable and smooth difference between 144 and 60. Honestly don't think I can go back to 60.
Color difference isn't a huge deal to me, and my 144 still shows really good colours. You can always adjust colours in your monitor too. For me refresh rates were the biggest issue instead of color and a 144 monitor is much more worth it

Not glare, glow. When you're viewing a black screen on IPS it has this eerie glow to it. Probably won't notice it too much in the light, but in the dark it can be pretty noticeable. It's not like backlight bleed in that it's localized, it's just an uniform glow across the entire screen when displaying black. It can be annoying, it can be fine. Depends on you and what type of content you work with.
Personally I don't regret IPS, even my laptop has an IPS panel.
