Had lots of fun with Diadem, however most of my FC don't like it like many in the general. There is no instant gratification since you may end up only getting shit and no useful 210 item at all. Some also expected it to be a super fast way to get materia V. In the end you have to kill many mobs and win items to trade in to get guaranteed Vs, else use the gear you acquire to soulbind.
Hunts are relevant again because of upgrade items if that is your thing.
New ex primal has lots of mechanics already known from other parts of the game with minor(if any?) DPS checks.
Dungeons are, well, they might be interesting the first run but in the end nobody will do them aside from daily expert.

Spread Shot and Grenado Shot have roughly equal damage-per-TP costs, but Grenado Shot has higher numbers on both. Use Grenado if you want to deal as much damage in as little time as possible and you don't really care about how long you can sustain it for (and/or if you've just popped HE/BfB/RS and want to get as many buffed attacks in as possible), and use Spread Shot if you want to make your TP last a little longer.

My FC's actually been talking about organising gathering runs of the Diadem in the near future, which I think is awesome. There's a lot of neato materials to be found there, and gathering also has a chance of spawning treasure chests with gear or items in them. I dig it.
