Holy god Vincent is horrible.
41 DEF and 50 RES at level 50. 67 DEF and 76 RES at level 80. And he's not even strong magically to compensate; only 122 MAG at level 50. That's still really good, but there's several less fragile characters with more MAG.
His ATK is also pretty good, but the issue is his skillset is 5* black 4* summon, so it's only useful for autoattacking if you have his magic-boosting gun.
And yes, he is inferior to Krile in every relevant way but having a second memory crystal. Loli bias confirmed?

The WORLD of Eorzea, and its lore and backstory and all that sort of thing - is absolutely fantastic and fairly well realised and all that, not to mention beautiful.
The plot and quests and missions and stuff, felt, for the most part, abominably boring. It does a pretty poor job of making you care for the characters, and heavily revolves around your character being the one true fucking saviour of everything.
In an MMO, that bugs the shit out of me. There is some more interesting political conflict later on, though.

The slot system was changed so that you can switch weapons whenever you want instead of being bound to Crush - Ravage - Vanquish slots, but the option is still there for Counter and Descend attacks.

Shell, MagBD, SG/SS. He only uses two moves, a rare physical and quake. If you can mitigate the heavy AoE damage, he's not a problem. Not a lot of HP.

I change my ming and run an Advantialite setup, still I'm getting my ass kicked so hard in my defence I was able to deal 60% of damege before I run out of Intimidates and RNG god has been a nice guy cuz my poison/intimidates stick in the first shot.

Thanks bruh. I think it's likely that these attack states still exist. They're just not customizable anymore.
But I think it's weird that only the counter and descend attacks are still customizable. The article says that leaving the slots empty prevents switching automatically:

Why not just do that for all attack slots and keep the auto switching system for those that like it?

I beat Jenova Death without Advance, with shitty hones and my only synergy gear being a Mythril Saber++ that was barely better than my best natural 5* sword.
Synergy gear just makes shit easier: it's by no means a requirement to beat any of the content that has been released so far.
