What I meant by garbage is that it reminded me of my first time playing Arma 2. In order to compensate for wanting a large world, the world looked bad, and so did the people.
The gunplay didn't look amazing, and considering who made it, why should it.
The only NPC I saw him talk to was a female vender bot named cleo, and she made some funny quips, that seemed half inspired by decent writing to characterize and half inspired by that borderlands 1/2 "we all know we're in an over the top videogame don't care if you know we know" dialogue.
She opened with a line accusing you of coming on to her, but then quickly switched as you went to trade to a line about having tested the weapons on humans.
I'm really digging my PSTV so far.

I was walking home at like 8pm and took a shortcut through a small side street to do so.
Two chavs blocked me off and demanded I gave 'em my bag and empty my pockets, but I could see their hands and they were unarmed so I figured it was worth risking a beating to protect my laptop + vita + essay drafts + phone + wallet and decided to run instead.
Unfortunately I ended up not being able to get away onto the mainstreet before one of them caught up, and was only saved because police were nearby and on the scene pretty quick once somebody called them over the sound of three lads shouting at and beating eachother.
I mean, I apparently managed to leave one of them in such a state that he's probably gonna lose vision in one of his eye, but that was only near the very end after I'd already gotten a fair amount of shit kicked out of me already.
Still, I managed to get away with only sprained tendons in my left hand, some bad bruising on my face and upper arms/torse, and a few cuts. I feel like shit anyway but I got really fucking lucky compared to what might have happened.

There's a walthrough for the non-Plus version that will work on normal difficulty. You can get the plat in one playthrough, aside from the new Hard trophy or optional bosses.
Hard difficulty doesn't really work with the guide due to decreased synth outputs so you'll have to improvise.

I think they're on par. They have different design goals anyway. I like DT2's labyrinth dungeon exploration (if only as a change from EO's constant room-based designs) and equipment customization. Arcade requires money and time. The tatakon Wii/WiiU versions are missing three crucial tatsujin-level songs from Murasaki Ver (Xa, Souryuu no Ran, Yuugen no Ran), and the arcade is missing Dehanai2000, not to mention they fucking removed one of the most fun 9-stars (Kill me Baby) for god knows what reason.
V Version comes with a training mode, which the arcade doesn't have. I'm pretty sure there isn't a single arcade regular who wouldn't want to practice Yuugen at half speed.
Also that player isn't memorizing (learn what ドロでた means) and I'm pretty sure he knows how to play arcade too. If you play Type B on Vita or PSP, the skills are transferable, just not the required stamina.

Using community designed rules does not make the game balanced.
The fact Smogon themselves are continually reassessing this kind of thing even when Nintendo isn't releasing changes to the meta not because of new tech but simply because of inherent bias, along with the fact that every single meta leans heavily towards extremely specific individual Pokemon shows how imbalanced it is. This applies even more to VGC than Smogon. Everything in Pokemon meta is inherently tilted towards an extremely minor number of Pokemon with it being common for a third or more of all teams to have one or two a specific Pokemon in most metas, even MORE in VGC.
