Yes it's good, just don't go in expecting the hyped up "Pokemon killer" aspect. They aren't the same game at all, just two games in the monster catching genre. If you want an explanation on the battle system so one can fill you in, don't worry the demo was indeed shit.

Pixiv doesn't use gifs, they use ugoira which is just a bunch of pngs used like a flipbook. If you use Chrome you can get the ugoira2gif extension to save them
