I dunno man, being at 1hp remaining is exciting and tense in clutch situations but if the entire fight is 1hp remaining it loses its urgency. Shmups aren't intense unless you make them bullet hell, and if they're bullet hell 100% of the time that loses urgency too.
For "1hp remaining" to be intense and urgent, it needs to be an infrequent thing.
Skydiving is exciting but if you teach skydiving for a living and do it several times a day, it stops being as exciting.

Mordremoth doesn't really have any one shot mechanics though, except the forced flying segments are pretty close to one shot.
Though for me I had to repeat the instance after he bugged out and made the floor where the rift is disappear followed by him doing attacks from later phases during phase 1 making the fight next to impossible (oh you thought you were channeling the rift to turn Rytlock against me? how about I cast Ley storm and suck you back into the middle)
Then the last rift bugged and disappeared while in the last phase with his break bar not completely gone and he was immune to all attacks so I had to restart again.

Go to the spot where Zildi is hanging out, the computer room looking place. In the personal story, that's the spot where you go through a portal. There are stairs nearby, go up and then take a left, there's a chest, a vendor with lore books (helps with answering those questions, actually), and a hole that drops you down to a jumping puzzle and the mushroom queen HP.

It should be active while you have the weapon's skills on your bar (sheathed or no). It shouldn't be active for your second, unequipped, weapon or any in your inventory.

Those Mordremoth fight bugs really annoyed the hell out of me. I got to the final boss a couple days after HoT launched, and I swear to fuck, I spent that entire mission soloing everything perfectly, including that stupid pale tree bullet hell. Then the final boss fight, obese alligator mutant notwithstanding, is actually really fucking atmospheric; there's all this shit going on and a rather cool theme playing over it all. Deal with the adds without a scratch. Then the first glider phase glitches and I have to restart. Then the first rift glitches and makes it impossible to win.
Attempt number 3 was with a party and that kind of wrecked the experience due to a) me glitching out on the first glider phase AGAIN and having to sit in the penalty box because this was before they patched that aspect to be less stupid, and b) pointless party chatter during that final, surprisingly depressing scene.

When will shitnet fix its shit servers? My toon and others have been warping all over the place for more than a week now, i did a traceroute and am literally getting 100% packet loss every single time it reaches the ncsoft/anet servers. It stops responding at one particular server and then that's the end of the line, no more responses afterwards once it reaches anet. The gw2.exe network diagnostic tool logs say the exact same thing. Anet's servers are fucked. Swear to god i'm going to uninstall this shit soon

I doubt that is the case, the forums are full of recent lag complaints too and all of my ISP's servers are up and reachable with low pings. The complete packet loss starts occuring only as soon as the data reaches the ncsoft servers, the logs are clear on this and show how ncsoft servers stop responding
That plus i can play other games fine without excessive rubberbanding so it's obvious this is not caused on my end

It's even less than I thought, but somehow I'm not even surprised. I just hope that the 'large amount of experience' is more than the XP you'd get for doing a regular event, because I'd much rather farm raids instead of spiders in order to get my last masteries.
With that being said I genuinely don't know what to expect. The bandit-ish boss seems to be in some kind of arena where you have to run around and probably do shit with some various environmental weapons and I don't want any of this shit.
Thank fucking God I got a full time job so I won't have nothing to do but play GW2 all day any more. I've had fun commanding and organising meta events on the new HOT maps for the few hours I have to play the game and as long as this remains fun for me I won't have to worry about selling my account.

I really dislike them. The bladed heavy armour looks absolutely terrible, although the medium and light versions have individual pieces that can be used independently. Ley stone armour looks strangely low quality (besides being unimaginative blocks of stone) and has an unnecessary magical smoke effect.

I've been trying out mesmer and chrono these few days and while alacrity is nice, mesmer damage itself feels pretty lackluster and you're a lot glassier than most other classes while doing it.
Not to mention that you need to skip out on normal utility to take your wells andin normal pug situations everyone just runs out of them anyways.

I don't know why everyone got upset about the dungeon gold reduction anyway. Dungeons have been a mid-tier form of gold farming at best ever since they nerfed CoF/Arah farming into the ground with the loot bag update in mid-2013. Most serious dungeon runners do it for the tokens these days anyway.

That's 4 gold for each boss so 12 gold + any loot from the first wing i think.
It sounds good on paper, but in reality 90% of the people are just going to spend hours wiping on the first boss and not earn shit. The money'll be good for the few people who get the raid on farm and clear it in an hour or so, sounds proper to me.
