Brenn found out late that the VGL was even happening and signed up too late, which is really the biggest shame about cancelling a Mega VGL, but it's just not feasible. The timing is way too tight for this particular VGL, it's too short-notice, one of our streamers is going to be unavailable beyond the first weekend, we don't want to bother non-NEETs on Christmas weekend, etc. etc. It's just really inconvenient and would be too much of a clusterfuck. I was saying that it's not happening because there's no way /sp/ will beat [s4s] if they play the same way they played during the group stage.
Thanks a lot everyone. Thanks for putting up with my shit and thanks to all the managers who did their best to bring this tournament all together. It was nothing but fun. A bit rickety at times but overall a blast. The relegated teams need not feel bad, for a clean slate will come in spring. And then we'll do it all over again. I hope next spring can be just as fun. Hopefully my computer wont decide to detonate and maybe just maybe I wont give a Streaming Site Admin a nice daily dose.
