New boss in a new area that opens when you beat Mom's Heart before the 30th minute.
>How to unlock The Lost?
Please note that the seeds are from Rebirth, and don't work in Afterbirth anymore.
1. Isaac must die to a Mulliboom in one of the Basement floors. Mulliboom seed: FHRD S1N1 (Go into the large room above the starting room. You can easily die from full health in here to them.) Or if not: JTMD EZPF (one is directly below - Normal difficulty)
2. Magdalene must die to her own bomb in one of the Caves floors. (Pyro Seed: ALFA 0NTZ)
3. Judas must die to Mom's Foot as Judas in one of the Depths or Necropolis floors. Good Seed: 8LDE 8XDX (Wait on using the Joker till the 3rd floor and avoid the devil rooms and you'll get the sacred heart. You also get the Sad Onion on the first floor.
4. Azazel must die to Satan in Sheol (his blood/laser form or hooves, NOT leeches or The Fallen). You must NOT use a seed.

It's great if you have mainly gray (spirit/soul) or black (black/devil/demon) hearts.
It's a fantastic item that is likely bad for new players on account of removing all but one of your red hearts. That being said, if you only had 1 red heart, picking it up in a devil deal for 1 heart would give it to you free of charge.

If you beat Mom in 20 minutes, you get to pick an extra item out of 2 or 4 choices but you have to fight a boss rush of nearly every boss that can appear in the first 6 floors.
If you beat Mom's Heart in 30 minutes you can fight Hush, but you need to unlock his area first.

As you get more experienced, you're going to want to run mostly on spirit hearts.
The reason being if you don't take red heart damage, you have greatly increased chances of getting a deal with the devil. Plus, if you take the deals, you're going to give your red hearts away anyway. On top of that, a bunch of good items require you to be at half a red heart or under (whore of babylon, empty vessel, polaroid/negative, etc).
In short, spirit hearts are pretty much always the way to go. And if you're doing that, the main downside of 9 lives goes away.

Drawback is Dead Cat and other extra life giving items prevent Alt F4 Exploit. Also picking up items and using permanent effect spacebar stuff like D4 saves the game. You could have just Alt F4ed out of I AM ERROR room, and remembered which pill is Telepill
Oh, and rerolls are set in stone. No matter how many times you Alt F4 or whatnot, item rerolls are the same, only random from run to run.
So if you get a good item in a treasure room early, leave it, go to the boss, win, if the boss item is a shit one like an HP up, take it, reroll it, then go back for the good treasure room item. Easy.

How the fuck are you supposed to get to Hush with Lilith? It took 25 minutes for me to get to Womb 1's boss room and I was skipping every room possible. I even had Leo in the first treasure room to blow up anything in my line of fire and Magic Mushroom from the first boss and didn't have to go through any Flooded Cavern levels.
And it was all for naught anyway since the Bloat dropped the miserable five hearts I had in less than 40 seconds.

I need to pop Chariot if the Gapers get too close. Also the tear beam rays TRACK you. AND THEY LEAVE BEHIND CREEP.
But yeah, I got him down to less than a quarter health. I can do this. I got Chariot, Scapular, three blocking orbitals, the Circle of Protection, Ipecac, Placenta, Celtic Cross, Synthoil, Magic Mush, Mom's Contact, Stigmata (from Boss Rush), and BFFs.I also took Experimental Treatment from one of the treasure rooms before Hush. It took away a little speed and range and gave me more damage and luck. Not to mention took one of my read hearts. I had 5, now 4. Mega Stan still doable.

Okay first thing you're going to ask is "Why did you highlight this?". I am very open about my epilepsy and not ashamed of it, and hoping from this video it can prepare you, my viewers, of what my seizures sometimes look like. They're different every time. First I'd like to apologize if I had scared anyways who was watching when this was live, I know it's hard to watch someone suffer especially when you can't do anything about it. My chat was still open the next day & I read what people where saying while it happened and I really do appreciate how much you all cared, and gives me more confidence to post this. In the video you can only see/hear the first few seconds of the seizure, I must've hit my keyboard and muted my microphone with a hotkey and then feel out of the camera view so you can only see my leg. Eventually I flip out of my chair though. Twitch is not only a place I go to play/watch video games and to talk to friends I can relate to in that community, but it's also a place that I can spread awareness about my condition (mainly just my stream). Some people say they reported Twitch to shut down my stream for the time, some said to send me an ambulance. I wanted to highlight this to let you all know this will most likely happen again, to educate people on what a seizure looks like, and I'm OKAY! :) And considering it seems a lot of people had already watched it according to the viewer count lol. Although this didn't seem like a bad one at all, I will continue to stream like I always do. Like I said, I want to educate you all in letting you know you just have to let me have my seizure until is stops. No need for ambulance (only for falling/hitting head) and luckily my comfy chair helped me out :) In the end I'll be okay. If you take a devil deal, you get locked out of the deal, as per usual.
HOWEVER, there are special perks for skipping devil rooms. Mainly being a suggestion another anon made, Blessed floors. Basically the opposite of a curse floor, gives you a random perk for the entirety of the floor.
If you take the devil deal, you're locked out of blessed floors, AND the chance of cursed floors increases. If you skip it, you have a lower chance of getting dumb bullshit and you have a small chance of getting something really good. Gives an incentive for maybe skipping out on that ghost baby for the chance of getting mom's knife.

Sacrifice Rooms are replaced with Piety Rooms. Something's telling me you've never had to count seconds while someone's having a seizure.
I mean, it's obviously not my problem, but there's a pretty good chance the seizures won't always be the same.
And yeah, you're supposed to call an ambulance if it lasts for more than five minutes (or two minutes over the duration usual for them); if it's followed by another seizure, or if they don't start regaining consciousness shortly after.
Again, it's not my headache, I'm just hoping she understands how what she's doing is somewhat retarded.

Illuminated Cathedral. Sunny day in paradise yo. Increased chance of angel bosses spawning, increased chance of angel chests spawning. Some enemies gain a halo and fire dazzling shots which dizzy Isaac if they hit.
Do something with alternative Depths so it at the very least is noticeably different aesthetically.

Protip: if you can buy the D20, the shop is selling batteries, and you still have about 4-5 waves left that drop coins in Greed mode, you've won.
Just be careful to only grab nickels from the first few rerolls, try to get Mom's Key, and go to town.

When you have a health problem that ends with seizures or similar in most cases the docs know why its happening. And its either really fucking consistent or its dangerous and inconsistent. And i believe that noone with the dangerous inconsistent kind would be saying "lol wait it out".

I'm confused on why I sometimes take a whole heart of damage randomly.
I know champions deal a full heart and anything past Mom's Heart will deal a full heart but sometimes even non-champion enemies pre-heart will deal a full heart. Is there something I'm just missing about that or is it a bug?
