American tanks were intentionally incredibly overpowered because you had to buy a pack to unlock everything after era I.
The Sherman 105 was at a "balanced" BR that was "coincidentally" slightly out of reach of non-payers, but close enough for them to see them shitting on everything in games. It was left like this for about a week to get buyers, then they moved it up to the point of uselessness.
Shermans were all undertiered and obliterated everything. Chaffee was a rally car. Jumbo was almost impenetrable from the front, and could sit on hills just taking shots endlessly to farm huge amounts of XP.
They eventually unlocked everything and made them somewhat comparable to Soviets. Then introduced TDs with fucking ridiculous BRs. Hellcats could frontally penetrate everything they faced, while also having ridiculous mobility, bouncing everything because muh angles, and being "overpenetrated" by absolutely everything so anything that it faced had to aim directly at each crew member to kill it. M10 was undertiered - it was at the same BR as the Pz IV F2, but superior in every way aside from turret traverse. Also had ridiculous survivability. Both had superior reload rate to now, on top of all this.
Then they changed the penetration mechanics, and gradually started shitting on Americans because Soviet bias suddenly became imperative.
I expect them to do the same with British tanks. Achilles is a sign of things to come.

I am talking about when they were introduced and fuses didn't activate on their armour, the angle bounce was even worse, and there was no spalling at all. They took no damage aside from direct hits to modules and crew. Shells would often go through without doing anything at all.
The only real counter to them was SPAA, because the sheer volume of fire would cancel out all the randomness and need for extreme precision.

Why is the XP-50 worse than the vast, vast, vast majority of the planes in the game at more or less everything?
It climbs at a mediocre pace, has terrible maneuverability, a mediocre armament, really awful speed and energy retention, and is generally just not very good.
Didn't this thing used to climb like a rocket? Now I have trouble keeping up with anyone. Shit, I have had Zeroes and P-63s outspeed me in dives without any effort.
