The off-track areas were great (the farmlands, later the bleak forests) and the fact they are actually high level areas is nice considering most game just go from happy forest > death mountain. I feel cozy just to think about exploring the Maple Forest, the Coral Plains or Gynas Trail.

I finished the royal mausoleum and 'The King of the Great Humans' main quest at around level 80. Why is the level gap between that one and the next quest so big? And who thought minimum level requirements for quests would be a good idea? The way things are I miss a bunch of quests because they didn't show up when I talked to the NPC or interacted with the quest-giving object earlier because my level wasn't high enough. I agree. Lack of decent spots to grind is the biggest issue at that level range. I don't mind having to grind a level or three in between some quests, but I'm not going to sit in one shitty place for 20 levels just to avoid worse grinding later on.
