I have reverse engineered the portion of the wrapper that matters, and have made an unwrapper that should be able to unwrap versions 1 through 7. But before I present that, here's what I think about SoftDenchi. Quite frankly, the wrapper system is very weak. I don't know if Paltiosoft is underestimating people, or if they're incompetent, but the wrapper presents little challenge to anyone wishing to unwrap, especially if they've already gotten a valid activation key. The wrapper's protection is encrypting a portion of the protected EXE's code, but the amount is so small it's almost meaningless.
In the v7 sample I have 32 bytes are encrypted starting at the entry point. If you know about reverse engineering, you will know that the entry point typically contains the runtime initializer, and this code is similar between many executables using that runtime. So it's possible to just find another EXE with similar code, copy it over, fix a few offsets, and you're done. Exit, from above, is v6, and only had 16 bytes encrypted. There is no anti-dump, so you can just run the game, dump process, and copy over the unprotected bytes. Not only that, but the wrapper uses a publicly available PRNG implementation, and using that to perform XOR encryption. (It's a good thing they did that, because it meant less work for me. I wonder what the period on the PRNG is.) The wrapper has no support for in-memory patching of EXEs with TLS nor relocations. And you can practically skip all of its licensing checks by jumping past those instructions (and it'll decrypt and launch the game, with enough time for you to do a memory dump).
Overall, it's just braindead and rather pathetic. You don't even need a code to decrypt it. If this is what company that made "the #1 DRM system used in Japan" can come up with, I think it is rather insulting to the Japanese.

i use google IME too, dunno why you have trouble with it unless you have suggestions off. should just be able to type shit and scroll through the suggestions, the more chars you type out the harder it'll be to get kata so use fewer symbols at a time if it's something long.
you can also try to setup hotkeys to switch between hira/kata which i've been too lazy to do since what i have just works, or try using a JP keyboard.

Okay, so, I'm kinda at the end of my rope here.
I got Yumina the Ethereal a while ago. I was really digging it. Then I got tothe whole OMG SPACE STUFF and began to lose interest. It became FIGHT THIS ED, NOW THIS ED, NOW THE FIRST ONE AGAIN. And fucking hell, the battles take for fucking ever.Anyway, the point is, if this was just a regular, no RPG elements VN, I would have finished it ages ago. But as it stands, the battles and how long they take are driving me mad. The animations and speech are cool the first few times you see them, but after so long they get tiresome, and they take so fucking long. I tried turning off some settings to hopefully end that, but they didn't work. Is there some setting I'm missing that turns that shit off, or perhaps (and I'm stretching here) some fan patch that stops that shit? I'm honestly about to give up on it, I don't have all fucking day to do this. Oh yeah, forgot to mention, my computer has little memory and so I can only have VN at a time on here, and Yumina is it. I have many others I want to play (I've been dreaming about playing VNs that don't even exist), but I can't until I either finish this or give up on it. Can any anon perhaps help me out, tell me how to make the battles so much shorter?

Well, you can use cheat engine to find the value for enemies HP and set them to 0. It's good for getting through the boss fights quickly, and that's what I did. The memory locations change every fight though, so it's a bit of a hassle.

Funny enough the Japanese didn't seem to mind as much as you do though. The PS3 version was actually the best received version of the game overall.
