Obi Wan and Qui-Gon were actually on a strictly diplomatic mission in Ep1. It only turned into saberfest because the trade federation decided to fuck em.
Then it's a mix of hitting a big bad or leading troops into battle, which once again is what Consular does.

Obi Wan was a soft spoken and wise man who would use the force to trick people and avoid confrontation only using his lightsaber as a last resort.
Yoda was a jedi who made up for his lack of strength and agility by being a master of the force. He was good humored and eccentric but also a strict teacher.
Luke Skywalker was an adventurous and brash Jedi who's mix of youth, agility, skill with the lightsaber, and knowledge of the force allowed him to triumph over his enemies.
All Jedi in the prequel series were blank pages with Jedi written over them and confused looks on their faces. Also once in a while they would run around waving glowsticks.
My personally, I try to play as a jolly jedi master who likes to heal people and thinks that the people of the empire and sith deserve empathy and help and that the Jedi should help all peoples instead of being pawns of the Republic.

I started playing SWTOR when it first came out and made a Merc bounty hunter. I'm a really casual player so I played it on and off just pushing through the story.
I recently got back into it and finished the BH's story while also learning how to actually play the right way, proper rotations and what not.
My friend also got back into it so we both decided to subscribe and make new level 60's on the Republic side. I wanted to make a Trooper because troopers are cool, but I didn't want to re learn a class.
Didn't realize every class on the other faction is just a carbon copy, just different aesthetically. So i'm loving Gunnery Commando because its just a Republic Arsenal Mercenary. My only complaint is that the attacks are sorta unimaginative.
With bounty hunters you get rockets out of your wrists, both guns, flamethrowers, back pack missiles, all cool animations that make sense.
Troopers get like 10 attacks that all come out of the same blaster rifle or assault cannon. Couldn't they have come up with more unique animations for these attacks? Like pulling out some sorta rifle for certain snipes, throwing more grenades, using your pistol, anything.
TL;DR Trooper look cool as fuck, but having every ability come out of your gun is sorta lame.

the armor is not based on the planet or anything, every heroic gives the same thing - a box with 2 random pieces of gear from one set in it. as you level up, it changes the set that you will get pieces from.
if you want to collect them all for vanity purposes later, you should try to collect a complete set before you outlevel them and can't collect pieces from it anymore. although i think you can get replica pieces at endgame from supply crates, but i'm not totally sure about that.

Security key will give you 100 free cartel coins everymonth. Cartel coins are used to purchase things from the real money store in the game called "the Cartel Market". Having 100coins everymonth will let you slowly unlock features that subs have privellege to (crew skills and the like)
Authorization: Artifact Equipment lets you equip the good end game gear as a non-subscriber. Without it, any gear that is classified "purple" or "artifact" will not be equippable.
To put it into perspective, gear at all levels has 3 different ratings: Green, Blue, and Purple with purple being the best. Without a sub or artifact authorization you cannot equip the best gear in the game.

They're invested in this because their entire galaxy got conquered by Arcann. The Emperor doesn't even factor into it because he died before the third war started.
The biggest thing though is that the only person from the main part of the galaxy who could confirm that Valkorian is Vitiate is Darth Marr, and the player character. Marr dies in chapter 1 and the PC is frozen for five years. So literally noone but you knows that Vitiate the Ziost eater is Valkorian except for you and you only know it because Marr confirms it on the bridge before he dies.
