I have never cared what the arbitrary color around the icon for my gear was. The game is about ilvls now, not gear color.
Normal gear is still the same color quality as mythic warforged gear. There is an extreme difference in the "epicness" of some shit 695 hellfire assault drop and a mythic warforged archimonde drop, yet people only complain about lfr.

Not even exaggerating the entire rotation is 5 buttons. Arcane blast, arcane missile procs, supernova, arcane barrage, and a cooldown macro for arcane power+crystal. You could make a blastx4, missile procs, supernova, barrage macro if you were good at macros too.
Blink, movement talent, invis, and ice block are the only other buttons you would ever press. Maybe polymorph or ring of frost for ccs

I have nothing to expect from Legion but dissapointment. Ever since everyone like Rob Pardo left the company halfway through Wrath the game hasn't been focused on quality, but instead easy money
The community has been destroyed, servers are dead and all the guilds are dying. Cross Realm was a terrible idea.
Immersion and depth has been replace with convenience. Professions are dead. We have so many raid versions we can only have one major patch per expansion.
Even their whole philosophy behind "Bring the player, not the class" failed. It doesn't matter how much you streamline the classes when you utterly fail year after year to balance them. All you did was remove the depth and uniqueness of the classes.
They promised WoD would be back to the old way, stepping away from the terrible new design of "faster expansions, less content" which was Cata and MoP. And instead they embraced it. I can't believe what they say when they will cut entire capital cities out of the expansion after leading their announcements with them.

Holy is a top tier healing spec.
Never played protection paladin but protection warrior is pretty good fun. Gladiator stance at 100 is a blast and makes solo content a breeze. Not sure about effectiveness but warriors are usually always good tanks, as are paladins.
Personally haven't liked fury for a long time so I won't comment on it because I haven't tried it.

Oh yeah cataclysm was thematically a mess and the writing is a victim of that, not the cause.
And there are totally villians that were villians before any "corruption", like Gul'dan, old gods, azshara, most orc antagonists, I could go on.
But of course most characters are genuine until they reach a tipping point. Most people in real life don't ever intend to be an evil, awful person, either.

I saw Chris Metzen at a grocery store in Irvine yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person and congratulated him on World of Warcaft's success, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Coke cans in his arms without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be busy and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the Coke cans and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical 'Infetterence',” and then turned around and winked at me. After she scanned each coke can and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by saying LOK'TAR really loudly.

You probably misunderstand Yrel's character. She never hated the orcs, as Maraad did. The Talador cutscene is very telling of this. She works with Durotan to fight Blackhand with no hesitation.
It is the same with Grom vs Archimonde. When there is a greater evil at hand, she does not waste time being picky about her allies. Enemies can become friends and vice versa.
