BEFORE ASKING TO BE SPOONFED, TRY THE FOLLOWING:
● Read carefully the cards.
● Lurk and carefully read the archives.
● Try and keep your deck as close to 40 cards as possible with 3 Upstart Goblins, 3 Chicken Race and 3 Terraforming. This increases dramatically your chances of drawing the cards you need.
● If building a Pendulum Deck, don't forget the Wavering Eyes, Dracoslayers and Clash. Ariadne is optional.
● Google your Deck before you post it here. If your deck is/was competitive it will probably have topped an event.
● Most Yu-Gi-Oh Games have an option between Singles (Self explanatory, a single Game) and Matches (Best of 3). It is recommended that you play Matches, as Singles does not teach you how to use your Side Deck.

Kozmos, Magispecters, and whatever else you can scrounge up that can compete against those two. Tellars are still technically in because the only real hits were Exciton to 0 and RotA to 1. They can still do all of their regular power plays no problem.
Melodious can sack wins against Kozmos and Specters using Aria as a floodgate, but that isn't terribly reliable.

My meta is going to be all kozmos and majespecters with infernoids and the odd ba splashed in. What would you guys reccomend I change? Any tips for the side deck? You can make a case for the extra deck shit, especially with Dracossack being a $120 3-of, but it's only been until recently that extra deck shit hasn't been the most expensive part of a deck. I like Pendulums. They really are an interesting mechanic. Also I would disagree with you about "Helmet tier sacky shit". Qlis obviously are super simple, but most other Pendulum decks are super skillful. And even if it may not be apparent when playing against them, a lot of the skill with Pendulum decks comes from deck building, especially in this upcoming meta with Majespecter, Memes, Magicians, and Dracoslayers.

I think konami makes decks designed to be top tier, I just don't think they realize HOW the deck gets to be top tier. It seems like konami designs everything in vacuum, like they get an idea for a deck (rituals that have slightly altered abilities of their extra deck counterparts) and then just run from there. They pay no mind to the interactions those cards might have with cards already in the pool, or how other decks might compete with that deck.

Rituals make sense from a design standpoint (theyre just fusions in your maindeck) but I can forgive them for being a shitty design because they were created before the card game was real.
Pendulums are just needlessly complex and explaining them to anyone getting into the game is a chore.

Similar deal: Perfectly workable, but Konami won't do it for Reasons.
Pendulums have poor design choices associated with decks built around the mechanic. Instead of spreading things too thin with "All Pendulum/Xyz/Synchro/Fusion" bullshit or being too braindead like "Unlimited Resource Works Tribute.dek", it should be "Pendulum + Summon Method, maybe with options for 3rd thing to show up".

It's a problem with all of the Dracofriend decks. They took each of their extra deck bosses and made them Dracoslayer exclusives. Dinomist, Igknight and Majespector all have no wincon.
Spectors get a pass because their gimmick is control so they don't need a boss monster.

"Protect the Castle" is a phrase used for most modern-day "Boss Monster"-centric decks. Pendulums are the embodiment of a degenerate mechanic. Either arbitrary restrictions/weakness make them bad or extremely helmet in Qlips case or no restrictions and they destroy everything.
