I find the Date to actually be the hardest faction other than the Ikko Ikki, because it takes so long to build any momentum thanks to northern honshu's huge provinces, that by the time I reach Kanto the Hojo/Takeda are huge and I've still only got one stack. Anyway, Aelia and Aila make for an amazing defensive position against the Sassanids. Both stacks are in range to defend the other, wipe the stack, then force march back to the city. The Sassanids and some vassals have finally shown up, and in two turns three stacks have been wiped out and another defeated.

It wasn't really exucseable. It was worse than rome 2(and still is) and they haven't really tried to fix it at all. They fixed some crashes like the fort crash and start-up crash that affected almost everybody.
They also gave out a patch that was supposed to make the AI move in formation but it did fuck all. The game was a fucking disaster and I am still bitter about it. I really want them to try again though.

The red buildings are the original Italian military buildings the default Etruscan league would have. They have much less units, you shouldn't build them, the only reason they exist is because removing them removes them for Rome as well, so Rome can't recruit except from Roma as it starts with one.

He even implies Gnaeus Pompeii is a pleb and Cicero speaks of his name in reverence.

We've taken most of Britain, by now. All that remains are Londinium and the town in East Anglia, the latter of which is owned by exiled Picts, who are besieging Roman London.
We have taken the town in Devon, and the Britannian rebels who were its former owners are trying to retake it. We expect a bloody battle for the city.

I killed most of the Britannian army when they tried to retake their town, and then chased down the remnants of their army, which of course tripled its size via mercs.
After beating them again, and waiting a turn, they turned into a generic rebel stack... but Britannia remains as a faction. Down here.

The /vg/ League is upon us once again. Last outing we failed to improve, falling to /dng/ and finishing a lowly 8th, despite our mighty third place the cup before.
Pic related is our roster. We shall run a poll soon, but for now I want to collect ideas for new players and which players should be removed.
If you didn't know, the /vg/ League is an intra-board tournament between /vg/ generals. Each general puts forward a team and these teams play one another in AI vs AI Pro Evolution Soccer. We have played in every iteration of this tournament, advancing past the knockout rounds three times out of four and reaching the semi-finals once; where we lost to the eventual winners.We have also played /gsg/ twice and unfortunately lost twice.
