Umbo thrust seems to just lower defence. Mobs still take more with right weapon type. Doesn't make much of a differance on a boss that still takes 75% reduced damage.

It's pretty weird that you are 74 without quests. I just follow the main quest and it got me to 77-78, then I did some low level maps with side quests that I skipped that got me to 79, then some side quests at mausoleon that unlocked because of my level.
After that I went to those maps at the north of Gytis Settlement above Klaipeda and this is where I am now.

The problem I found is past Level 160+, Elite monsters basically become common enemies.
That's not what elite monsters should be like. They should be uncommon enemies which are tougher to kill than most, but give good rewards rather than them being littered around the place like common enemies.
It makes soloing tough for sure, but I'd expect it to be easier in fields. Field dungeons and harder content, it should be expected to party up.
I'd rather they gave areas more mob density rather than a bunch of tough mobs which take ages to kill. The difficulty would be in swarms.

There is no reason not to use exp cards right away unless you hit class level 15 because the exp doesn't carry over to your next class.

I have archer c2/ ranger c1, aiming for fletcher. Fletcher c2 have insane damage on their skills but require ammunition so I was thinking about picking a different class after ranger since I shouldn't need any other damage skills at 10 or 15, and Wugushi seems to be the one that gives the most bang for the buck from c1. c2s aren't an option since I want fletcher c2.
Is it possible to sustain your skill usage just from mob drops when you have two classes that uses special resources?

You have 5 entries per day per dungeon. The 90 dungeon should be good until 110 (I'm around 103 myself). Next dungeon is like level 150, not sure without looking.

Or actually it seems funnier that you managed to get 77 just by doing the main quests. I did every single sidequest at the appropriate level and only got 71 by the time I reached Mausoleum. Had to go grind for hours upon hours at the Constructor Chapel because I had no more quests to do.
I tried talking to every NPC again after I finished a quest because I heard that you can repeat certain quests but no one ever allowed me to repeat a quest.

You either missed quests or you just haven't went and picked up quests because you think you are too low level for them. You can do +10 of your current level. Trust me, I thought I was in the same boat until I found a few areas I had skipped.
