Why do people talk about forced 50%?
I was at 60%+ in the open beta and now I'm at like 35% and I keep joining losing games.
Quick question about Symettra.
I know to hide sentry turrets in bushes etc. but in some maps, there are objects like boxes and other miscellaneous 'junk' lying on shelves or on the floor. Are these objects server-side or client-side (I may be misusing these terms)?
I know in TF2 ragdolls are client-side, so hiding a stickybomb inside a player's corpse won't work, since the body will be in a different place to different people, but dropped ammo boxes and weapons are 'server-side' and will be in the same place to every player.
Is the junk on the floor in OverWatch the same way, or is it pointless to hide sentry turrets inside of it?

That aside, when I do get to play other classes, it's mostly attack ones - Soldier, Pharah, Reaper - but I always seem to get fucked over by Genji.
Is there any kind of hard counter to that fucking robot ninja? It feels like every time I encounter a semi-competent one, they're just spazzing out like a seasoned Mortal Combat player with parkinsons is controlling him. Infuriatingly hard to track and hit, then they piss off to find a health pack or somehow stick in my blind spot until it's too late for me to find them.
I've put my mouse sensitivity up, it's helped a little, but I just don't think I'm playing the right classes to go toe to toe with Genji without frustration.

She doesn't heal, her damage is negligible, her E is borderline useless, all she can do is take a beating and not die, and chase people down. But that second part is complete shit because she does no god damn damage.
She also has nothing to get gold medals in easily. She can't lob shit over walls like Junkrat, or heal herself or others, and shielding doesn't give a medal and even if it did she'd lose to any Reinhardt with ease.
She is borderline useless, and she can't even make it look like she's any good, because she has nothing else.

Bastion actually still works well against better palyers if you're playing him much more actively. I just revjump to a position, look for a kill or two, then go scout mode and harass until I find a deployment opportunity again.

Genji has low damage output. If you outplay him by making him waste his E, he'll be forced to at least back off since you can now likely kill him. Without his E he's also fairly easy to chase down for Pharah, S:76, Tracer, Winston etc. Heroes like Roadhog and McCree can also just stun and kill him.
Also, Mei is genuinely good at protecting her team against Genji since you fucking can't fight her as Genji. You just have to back off because it's a 9-1 matchup or some bullshit like that. I get gold pretty much always when I play D.Va and I have a 60-65% winrate with her. She has fucktonne of armor, damage and mobility, so it's pretty hard to not wreck face with her.

Actually, you totally can and should be targeting other tanks. D.Va's guns shreds other tanks. Having the ability to kill the tank first is pretty valuable for a lot of group cohesion is built around being able to hide behind Reinhardt.
