Finally finding my way back into the zone after a rather long hiatus. Last playthrough was OGSE and dayum that shit was ballin as fuck. The thing is I never EVER played through Clear Sky due to the bad reputation it has.
Any mod recommendations for that one? I primarily liked the replayability and weapon customization and realism (names, variety, ammunition) from OGSE.
Is Clear Sky worth a playthrough or should I skip it again to go back for another round of CoP/SoC (played those way too much though)?

Holy shit this is actually pretty intense. I used up way too many of my healing items but enemies wouldn't stop pouring in.
I really like how one enemy is enough to fuck your shit up if you're not careful, so small skirmishes like that are really tense.
I've one question though: Is it normal that sometimes enemies can shoot through walls or stick their arms through walls to shoot me? A bandit caught me off-guard shooting me from the other side of the gate.

I was splitting up the CoC trader files with #include because the ~11 general traders + added mod items makes the trade files difficult to handle.
I had two folders called trader_sell_prices and trader_buy_prices where I put ltxs with the relevant traders generic_sell and generic_buy. I was getting a crash that said it couldn't open one of the files.
Only after I checked did I notice I wrote trader_sell_prices\trader_buyprices.ltx instead of trader_buy_prices\trader_buyprices.ltx

I do like the combat but I did not like having to run back and fourth a lot. Also I was shit at combat as I could not aim well and use cover with lean properly.

I've tried CoP and couldn't stand it for more than 30 minutes. Went right back to play some shitty SoC mod and instantly had way more fun. Didn't even bother with CS but I might try it at some point.
SoC just has perfect atmosphere and and a certain charm for me. I just like everything about it so much that it ruined other games for me.

If you like leaning behind cover with similar combat and ballistics then you might like the Arma series. The entire time when I was playing SoC, it felt like I was playing Arma 2/3 but with more strafing. Arma is strictly a simulator though which I play strictly multiplayer and usually as coop and rarely player verse player.
