You give each character distinct strengths and weaknesses that can be used or taken advantage of. That's how diversity works. If you try to homogenize it and make every character the same then it turns into League of Legends.

If you're trying to play for a deep competitive experience, either the game is shallow as shit or the metagame is only in barebones stage right now. Aim is important because headshots are a significant DPS boost and positioning is challenging because there are several abilities that strongly counter hiding.
It also has only a few maps on release, and they're no Dustbowl or 2Fort but most of the maps are pretty decent.

What character can fit into every composition or almost every one, and is generally easy enough that even the biggest retard italian casual can learn quickly?
Let's talk about these "dream change lists" and stuff.
One thing I've noticed in common between all of them is that they take the problem and lower the number somewhere. For example, most of us can agree that McCree is a little too strong. Even if you don't agree, just follow me here. In this case, you don't nerf the Fan the Hammer. You nerf what he's already bad at. He's supposed to be good at ambushing people from behind corners. He's meant to be strong in that situation.
The problem is that he's just so generally "good" across the board. He doesn't have any glaring weaknesses that can be exploited. This is what any dream lists need to accomplish. Give the character something that can be exploited in order to defeat them. Not only does this lead down a bad path where the game is all about stat checks, but it also feels bad to people who genuinely like that playstyle. If someone who legitimately likes McCree sees this change, they would be disappointed, because chances are that this ambush-y style of gameplay is what drew them to McCree in the first place.
Similarly, when characters are too weak, you don't just want to buff whatever you deem their weakness to be. Just as a quick example, I personally would argue that Zenyatta is balanced but I've seen talk about him here, but I have seen people buff his base HP or change his HP in some way. Zenyatta is supposed to be squishy. You want to buff what he's good at. Not erase his weaknesses.
This style of balance that I see many people do would lead to a game where every Hero is the same and there's no reason to pick anyone over someone else except that their stats are better. We don't want Overwatch to turn into a game of stat checks. Giving each Hero unique strengths and weaknesses would lead to diversity.

Mercy and Reinhardt, the only thing you really have to learn as mercy is when to ress, Reinhardt has probably the second lowest skill floor in the game when it comes to being a semi effective player. Soldier 76 and McCree are the mercy and reinhardt of damage and can do fairly well without any real knowledge.

For Symmetra on attack I'd point you at >>143869707 with some side notes. Enemy turrets are particularly easy to take down in close range. Aggressive teleporters can be a huge benefit if the map isn't too linear. Sentries on top of the payload make it hard for the defenders to get close to it. Your alt fire is good to force snipers away from their current spot but chasing them down is a good way to help out and get easy kills. Otherwise just stick to some basics, flank in close quarters or circle the payload using it as cover to push while letting your main fire handle anyone nearby.

Forced 50 isn't real, it's just really bad matchmaking and shitty game design revolving around hard counters, which has the side effect of forced 50, i guess. 80% of games are stomps from either side, but It's very rare for you to be stomped due to a team outclassing the other, what happens
ins the huge majority of the stomps is that the winning team has game sense, so they know how to flank and they know the proper heros to the situation, while the losing team completely lacks game sense and simply refuse to switch a hero that is obviously not working out.
Flank and right heros, the stomping team uses them while the stomped team ignores them. It's not about superior aim or positioning or ulti decision making, which would make games enjoyable.

A few reasons. One is that her turrets have 1 hp each, which means trying to use them in all situations is a bad idea. Someone like D.va can actually just blind fire at a point and break most of them.
Second, due to how spawn point changes work, how they get closer to the end every time a point is taken, her teleporters lose their use after a bit. She isn't useful on attack because she builds defenses, and on the last defense point she probably won't have time to set up as well, and her teleporter is useless because the point is right outside the spawn.
Playing with people from here has been a world of difference in how competant and fun the game becomes.
