I agree with most points but I did quite like the battle sprites and thought it did a good job of playing with expectations in regards to Flowey and Asriel's uses of different visuals. And the music being reused didn't bother me much since it was thematically consistent, and the overall use of motifs in the soundtrack was great.
I wish there was a boss rush mode more than anything else. The genocide bosses were the highlight of the gameplay. It's also worth mentioning that the different bosses had unique gimmicks that repeatedly changed up the gameplay and kept things fresh, there's a reason pic related is what many people consider the best moment.

Undertale is a boring game with shit gameplay that has very little depth. The game relies on textdumps and the only reason the gameplay exists is for the narrative, it isn't meant to be fun, there is no reward or satisfaction in getting good, the areas are small and extremely linear, the characters are fucking retardo such as papyrus and alphy's. The absolute garbage meme 9gag humor like your little phone blowing up literally every step in one area is just terrible.
The mini games like the robots game show aren't good at all and feel like a chore. I played this game about a week or two after the hype was getting big and I just felt like I kept waiting for a game to get good that never was. Dropped it after the spider bitch, there's nothing interesting about the game, there's little that would keep someone playing. The plot is vague up to that point and the gameplay isn't fun and has a small amount of depth.

I don't like Undertale, and it's not because other people does.
I don't like it because the game looks really ugly. I get that the game was made by a one person, but there are plenty of other one-man projects with much more prettier sprites.
The combat is shallow and repetitive. Turn based RPGs in general suffer from this, but I'd rather have stats and types and crap over a half-baked bullet hell.
The music is really overrated. It's just some generic chiptune with few catchy notes thrown around. I saw people regard UT's soundtrack as the best in the world, comparing it to the likes of Mozzart and whatnot, when I doubt they haven't listened to the artists they're comparing the soundtrack to.
Characters aren't as interesting as people make them up to be. Sure, they interact with the player in different ways depending on your action, but that's just a bare minimum that should be a standard for just about every characters ever.
The whole 4th wall aspect is way too in-your-face. It's like the creator of UT thought breaking the 4th wall was something that has never been done before. The game makes it look like you genuinely killed real people when you're going through the genocide run and whatnot, but that's pretty stupid and edgy. The whole point of fiction is that it's not real, and trying convince people that you're a monster for killing few fake frogs is honestly pointless, especially when I could kill real frogs with no consequences in real life.
