Yes you can buy all the spyro and crash bandicoot games on ps3. (the orginal series). Though year of the dragon has slowdown issues so i havent really played it that much, however the first 2 are fine.

I liked it. They changed a lot of things from the original formula (Double Jumping, Gens are a currency) But it still provides the feel of the classic games.

You'll probably find the controlls kinda clunky, but there's plenty of things that still hold up. Solid game design, good writing, great characters, 10/10 music (only gets better as the trilogy goes on), and generallyfungameplay. Treat yourself anon.

how fucking stupid are you? Insomniac never owned Spyro to begin with. The company was on the verge of bankruptcy and signed a contract with Universal Studios to make the trilogy. When Universal asked them if the wanted to make more Spyro games, they declined the request because they couldn't think of anything else to do with the series. And from there they took the IP to other developers.

I was talking figuratively you butt. Of course they never really owned Spyro just as much how Naughty Dog never owned Crash, but this doesn't mean you don't feel bad for what was indisputably your own creation and that you are never allowed to produce anything (not necessarily games) or talk about/reference/tribute it ever again. It's like seeing an old pal leave. They had to "give up" their own creation for someone else to exploit/continue. It's like a case of surrogacy, you can't help but feel bad.
