According to /v/, a bad game like Skyrim should have lost its appeal a long time ago. How come that isn't actually the case, and can someone explain this phenomenon? But more importantly, how come Witcher 3 doesn't have as good mod tools as Skyrim?
Witcher 3 fans even said the new DLC would save it, and certainly the Steam summer sale didn't help it

Skyrim has amazing mod support. So many mods you can recreate new games out of it. Tons of replay value.
Witcher 3 has none of these things

But Skyrim is literal shit. The modders spend months of their life polishing this turd but they still can't make this game playable. It is probably the worst game ever made in terms of hype.
Don't even talk about the vanilla game. It is literally unplayable. Mods make it playable but in no way 'good'. Skyrim is 5/10 at best with mods.
