and a PC port increases your sales by 15%
that means if your game sells a million units on consoles, you get 150k extra for the PC version.
while if your game is really popular and sells 3 million on console you get 450k extra.
wich means a port is more "worth it" if your game sells a lot.
Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter are big enough franchises.
granted after all, the MK PC community must be so small that they were able to discontinue that version.

Having attempted to emulate it, it really just reminds me of the EA Fight Night games where you use the stick to attack. A and B buttons are for movement (and if you press them together, you block). PC is a growing market so even if you just level out profits and costs, it helps to have your franchise gain recognition and grow on the new platform's audience. I think that's more their angle than just gaining some extra money. And I think for alot of companies that's been pretty successful, considering that 5 years ago the thought of PC being a fighting game platform was a joke, and now there's strong arguments that it's the best platform for fighters outside setting up tourneys.
That said I've no doubt it'll be on PC eventually along with Revelator... And if it isn't, then it'll be that one PS4 exclusive fighter that's out there.
