For SFV, I'm hoping for Tokido or Xian to win. Tokido because he's been working harder than anyone else, so not getting 1st would be incredibly unfortunate. Xian because him as a player is incredibly entertaining. His attitude towards competition is an ideal that would be great if more players had.Sonicfox making Top 8 would be incredibly nice, but I doubt that will happen.
For Sm4sh I want Dabuz. Easily the most consistent player right now, and he can earn a top spot. He's finally been getting some positive attention after the Sm4sh playerbase stopped bitching about anything other than constant aggression, so this is a nice oppritunity. But again, the same was for G3. Melee is looking mighty boring this time around so Sm4sh redeeming it would be nice.

Most top 32s are composed of 80% those characters 20% other. Rashid hasn't made it to top 8 once and not really many top 32s. Zangief players struggle to get top 32 and a few have. Bison players have been phased out since he sucks
I hate that i called it but i knew Bison would drop significantly. Every mechanic/core favor of the game goes against Bison. He still has strong pressure/neutral for a SFV character but his defense/awkward close movement is just terrible. Hes built like a glass tank. When hes moving in and on advantage hes great but once hes forced to defend himself once hes ass.
I really hope SFV gains a few defensive tools in future updates. Maybe the 8f delay being improved will make reactive/defensive play good enough at top level where more people can win with it and not be gotten in on by one RPS guess.
