Schwig packed up and left a few months prior to the project dying. We got a similar artist who replicated his style well before it actually died though.
As for the death of it, people just vanished and stopped responding. The forum we used was barren, and the programmers stalled everything. It's not really their fault though, they did their best. The killing blow who whomever decided to code anew engine from scratch for an RPG.

You seem ill-informed. Most patreon creators continually produce content and only receive money for content they produce. I have no issues with the handful of artists I support on patreon because they churn out shit I like and if they stopped I would stop supporting them and everyone's happy. Breeding Season was an odd situation, in that it's the sort of project that would normally be on kickstarter but couldn't be because kickstarter doesn't allow adult content (unless it's pandering to SJWs).
