World uses its power-ups better and has better level music
Both rehash boss fights to the point where it gets boring getting to a fortress or castle
Both Bowser fights suck massive dick and if it wasn't for the music, they'd be awful

I bought Super Mario Maker the other day, and it because very obvious that Super Mario 3 is by far superior to World. I now play SM3 levels exclusively. I am really, really bummed that there isn't a version of that Mario v Luigi fight from SM3. Anyone remember that? Stealing all your brother's stars and shit was the best :3
