Also forget what I said about PHY leader, he's a good rainbow leader. That attack boost is sweet as fuck. Just remember you need full or high health going in to the next round for it to activate. You can't senzu then have it activate retroactively.

It's not worth it.5 of the characters you mentioned have Dokkan Awakenings to TUR, and the STR SS2 Vegeta placed in the top in a poll to see who gets one next, so he'll be getting one too.
Stick with what you've got and learn to kick shit in the teeth without Gogeta.
PHY Ult Gohan will have ki+3 to all when he awakens too, so that's a little something.

Gogeta isn't going to help much there anyway. He's king of multi-type teams, but those are events where mono-types reign supreme.
Sure, the upcoming story mode additions with multiple enemies will be a bit harder without Gogeta's little boost, but you've got a great heavy hitter in SS3 Goku, two potential all-types ki+3 leaders in SS3 Vegeta and Ult Gohan, and a tournament sweeper in Majin Vegeta.
Gogeta might make clearing content easier, but you'd still have to rebuild your box and there's no guarantee you'll get anything close to what you've got now.
Also, have you been taking full advantage of the ki spaces on the path leading up to Goku? Resetting to make sure it goes to the right characters and such?

Not really. I only tried the event twice but only got to about half his health before he dragon fisted me. The team I used was:
SS3 Vegeta
SS3 Goku
Majin Vegeta
Jaco
SS Goten
TEQ Beerus
Apart from the first three nobody hits nearly as hard. I usually take a Godku friend with me but it'd be a lot easier if I had one of my own or a Cell. I did pull one of the new Pikkon's though and it looks like he might be useful for that fight. Guess I just have to suck it up and hope I pull Gogeta in the future.

Okay. Well, if you see that the ki is going to somebody you don't want it to go to (someone with low SA damage for example), if you exit the app before the animation finishes you'll be back in your previous space when you start back up, allowing you to retry the space until the ki goes where you want it to.
As for units, I can only really recommend farming Android 13 from the story mode to SA10. Then Dokkan awaken him to Fusion Android 13. His supers will put a good dent in Goku's HP.
You can farm a second Android 13 and don't Dokkan him if you want to use the two together for the links too.
Jesus christ I don't understand how to use Ultimate in Budokai 3 and it pisses me off. The Ai always manage to catch in their Rush/Ultimates and I never manage to get away from them. Fuck I even play on easy in the Dragon Universe mode and Imperfect Cell kept fucking me over and over while I was playing Piccolo, I rage-quitted, on EASY. Why are Dimps games so hard to play?

Here's what I have after checking the sets on my strike guy.
Evil Rise Strike - the move everyone moved to when Gravity Impact and Evil Whirlwind were nerfed, except unlike those moves this one is actually broken because it has very little start up and while it doesn't confirm into anything it doesn't need to because it does a ton of damage. Also there's no Ki super equivalent so nerfing Gravity Impact and Evil Whirlwind just made the game more imbalanced yes I'm still salty.
Gigantic Omega - extremely hard to dodge, does multiple hits that eats through guards. Small Ki blasts can beat it but by the time you react to this move you've probably already traded in your opponent's favor.
Shining Slash - Warp to the opponent and strike them. Counterable but getting close is still useful.
Super Drain/Hyper Drain - steals your opponent's stamina/stamina and ki. if I remember correctly super drain can't be blocked but hyper drain can. Drain Charge steals just Ki but the start up is awful. Pairs well with Absolute Zero.
Victory Rush - an ultimate that teleports you to your opponent. If you miss the first hit the whole move misses but even if they perfect guard the first hit the whole move will keep going
Justice Combination - an extremely low start up ult with good damage
Also honorable mentions to Pearl Flash and Rebellion Spear. A guy I knew said he knew a guy that said that Pearl Flash, Rebellion Spear, Evil Rise Strike and some fourth move (maybe Gigantic Omega?) combo in some way, and with minmaxing was basically a one hit confirm kill.
