Heavy is by far my least played class (like 50h out of 3700), because its just so samey and slow, not because it's underpowered. I dont really care for its balancing because ive seen some people make heavy seem really OP. But some more option and variety would be nice, and I dont mean just a new minigun/shotgun.
I dont really give a shit about Pyro though, I think its a fine meme class for fucking around and doesnt necessarily need to change.
Pyro doesn't deserve anything good. Hell if anything they should remove it from the game all together since it's the most terrible class.

Heavy needs some kind of fundamental stat boosting to be made more viable. The difficulty of this is why they've continuously delayed it, but it only becomes more pressing with every update.
Soldier/Demo/Knight needs to be reworked, Sodier and Demo should be merged down to Demo ('the explosives guy') and Knight split off and made its own legitimate class.
Pyro is actually almost fine. Airblast reflecting could use some tweaking to be more reliable and useful (starting with the fix that it actually work as advertised, moving from there to reduced self-damage and making it easier to do in the first place, etc.).
Scout should have Atomizer and Winger both integrated as base features of the class (I would even say to let Scout jump infinitely, as long as he has the health for it, but obviously that would need some other reworks to handle things such as quickfix medics). There is no excuse for 'the mobility guy' to require a specific loadout to actually fulfill that role, and otherwise be completely outmoded by 'the jack of all trades'.
speaking of soldier. he has to go. i said above, he and demo should be merged. this should definitely be the mechanism to kill Soldier, more than anything else.

Always have medibeam on someone to charge uber, even if they're full hp. Obviously switch targets if someone who is hurt comes near since you get more uber charge that way.

Your default behaviour should be following a heavy or a soldier with your medibeam on them while you look around for spies and wounded teammates to heal.
Learn to take heavy's Russian cock like a champ but don't forget to give soldier's or demo's a little lick from time to time, especially if you have kritzkrieg.
Don't heal scouts, snipers or spies. Ever. If you're near a friendly sniper, one of you is playing the game wrong, healing a spy means you're either giving your him away or healing an enemy and he's making a YouTube video about your retardation and scouts are cunts so you let them die.

Pyro needs it far more than the Heavy does. Pyro is literally useless at ranges longer than midrange, and he can be pretty easily outclassed at closer ranges as well. Airblast has some damn utility, but it's not enough to actually make him good.
I'm just afraid that Valve will shove some broken ass weapons on him and call it a day.
