A couple reasons, actually.
Sniper rifles, or rather, rifles intended for use in sniper roles, must be meticulously cared for. That includes the chamber to ensure that each shot is as similar if not identical to the last. A revolver is effectively six different chambers, which is a shitload more care and maintenance. Each one could perform differently, effectively being six different rifles rather than a single rifle that will behave predictably on the first, third, and last shot. That's one problem.
The second problem is the fact that, at some level, the revolving chamber has a gap in between the barrel and the chamber. That gap results in a loss of power and can cause a few fluctuations in how the shot will behave. A second problem in a task that asks for precision.
Revolvers are cool, and rifles are badass. However, the two concepts do not play well together.
