And with the limited number, the current meta came to be since that is hope competitive works. You find out what works best with the current rules and circumstances.

Already told you that I enjoy 6v6 and 9v9 both, I just don't pretend that 6v6 is god's gift to man. It's shaped like it is for a purpose.
Or do you actually think it would be hard to apply class restrictions? No, 6v6 is the size it is mainy out of necessity and the classes used is a result of that, it works the best for that size, which is also why it has never changed. If heavy or any other classes were viable, they would've been used alongside Scout, soldier and demo.
But as we all know, that's not the case. Doesn't mean it's bad, it's natural in any competitive setting. And don't act as if competitive players give a shit about what's "Boring" or not for the viewers. Competitive players will play what gives them the most edge and biggest chance of winning. If engie, spy and sniper was as viable as demoman in 6v6, they would pick them all the time.
And that you think it's boring doesn't mean everyone does. Both 9v9 and 6v6 can exist, they'll just be different, the main problem is balancing currently.
