2) Download Mario Party, Mario Kart, Kirby Air Ride, your game of choice, GCN ISO files from emuparadise.me
3) Host a netplay room and post the code here to play with other anons

config: gamecube: nothing (no memory card)
And turn off Speed Up Disc Transfer Rate (right click game > properties)
Also do whatever "unlock all" cheats that may apply

I'd download 5.0, but for some reason, on my PC, on newer builds of Dolphin, it chugs. So, I still use 4.0-652. I have absolutely no idea why it chugs on newer builds, but I'll give an example: On Xenoblade Chronicles for 652, I get 30 FPS, always, hardly ever dips. On 5.0, I can't even hit 10 FPS. Does anyone know why this is?

I think it might be that since the newer version of Dolphin can run games much better, your computer can't handle it as well so you might have to change some settings on some ISOs.
Not sure if this is the actual reason but it was the cause during older versions of dolphin in the past

The thing is though, I have an i5 CPU at 3.50 Ghz, 12 gigs of ram, and a GTX 780 Ti. That should be absolutely fine with 5.0 according to some Dolphin devs that saw a thread I made on the forums, and even they didn't understand what was wrong.

Traversal is a lot easier to set up. Forwarding ports and providing an IP address is not always possible or desirable. For local games traversal is pointless but for remote games it's probably in general better.

When doing netplay with more than two people, you use the person with the highest ping as a baseline for pad buffer. Go ahead and divide that ping by 16 or 17 to get an idea of the buffer you need. The 16 or 17 comes from the fact that a 60 fps game will need inputs every 16.67 ms (1000 ms/60). If a player can't get their input data to the host fast enough, they will slow everyone else down. The pad buffer will increase input lag by the number of frames that you choose. For example, a pad buffer of 5 will add around 83 ms of lag (16.67 ms*5). However, the input lag will be more desirable than a choppy, stuttery game.
