Tell me why first member of the Wild Hunt has three attacks (two different swings and summoning hounds while using a shield). Ah, he wasn't intended to be a unique boss. Literally dark souls tier shit, same about recycling bosses like Noonwraith (change its name, keep it in the game). Most of the enemies of the same type have literally copypasted animations, the only difference between them is a different model. But yeah, I'm confusing with dork souls, TW3 has way more total enemies you fight. The difference is that enemies in Dark Souls have different movesets while in TW3 you have 5x wraith AI + slightly changed model, 10x human AI + different armor (same VA though), 5x griffin AI + different models and 6x dogs + slightly changed models.

But, they search for said money in different ways. Some companies simply look for short-term profits and rape the fuck out of their fanbase to extract as much money as they can before the fanbase gets sick of it. EA is one such company, who buys out existing titles, exploits the fuck out of them until they can't be exploited anymore, then shuts them down. Activision rehashes and rehashes and rehashes to exploit brand names as much as possible.
Other companies who look into the long-term and want more stability try to get money by building a good reputation and with it a very loyal fanbase, and usually pander to niche markets. CDPR is one such example.
Reacting to CDPR's stance on DRM and piracy with "YOU'RE JUST PRETENDING TO BE NICE TO PANDER TO ME, YOU'RE NOT GONNA FOOL ME WITH YOUR MARKETING TRICKS!" is fucking retarded. Even in the beginning of the game most of the quests are all about witcher senses. Every single sidequest in White Orchard is literally "follow red shit and talk/kill/grab loot at the end". Examples? Firestarter, pan, Noonwraith, survivor from the uprising.
Same about one of the best quests im the game, Bloody Baron. Investigate Ciri's room, investigate Tamara's room, investigate Anna's room, follow the smell, "play" hide and seek, search for Janek, search for him again, investigate the Whispering Hill, everywhere.
