Dungeon Souls is $5 and very worth it if you like procedurally generated action games like Nuclear Throne or Enter the Gungeon. It's got some cool shit like a class that can multiply all the projectiles that he shoots by 10x. Don't be put off by the early access tag, it has a ton of content with 10 classes, 7 tilesets, and a few dozen enemy types.

Enter the Gungeon is a fucking awful Roguelite for people who like Roguelites.
Enter the Gungeon is a painfully slow-paced dungeon crawler that if you are used to shit like Nuclear Throne will make you vomit blood in disgust. It's a great game if you like slow and methodical work making sure you don't fuck up cause every little mistake fucks you massively.

They're not tippy top monster clicking loot fests but Torchlight 2 (No real reason to go back to 1 or the Fate games) is alright.
The kings of clickers are Path of Exile, Diablo 3 (With the expansion), and Grim Dawn. Torchlight 2's a second tier clicker but it's still well worth playing.

Squad is basically the successor to Project Reality, which is basically ArmA but without the shitty engine so people actually play it. Haven't played squad, but I have played Project Reality and it is a very fun, tactical shooter that involves large-based teamwork and strategy. Keep in mind that Squad isnt finished at the moment.
I just bought Pulsar Lost Colony, I think it is a tad bit too pricey for what it is, maybe $15 would be a good base price. Anyways, it's very Star Trek esque. WARNING: if you don't have 3-4 friends to play with, you will not really have much fun, it requires a 5 man crew (although 4 works). I enjoy it myself, you feel like your role is important to the ship, however i wish you could build your own ship like interstellar rift etc.

Pretty mixed feelings. I really like the 90s styled level designs, but controls are super clunky and camera is worst I've experienced in a long time. Think of all the camera problems that early 3D platformers had, and you'll have pretty good idea of what to expect.

Spellforce, Postal 2, and Strike Suit Infinity.
As a matter of fact, those are three games I would recommend to anyone who is an ultra poorfag.
Spellforce is a 3rd person RPG RTS hybrid with a cool class system for your hero and slight base building mechanics, can mix and match classes for interesting stuff, current playing a 2 handed sword, heavy plate, and necromancy character and I am really enjoying it. Lots of quests and leveling is enjoyable.
Postal 2 is self explanatory, great levels to explore and lots of hidden secrets

You can turn off voice chat and possibly voice chat, but the voice text is useful. I haven't found the community toxic or any different from almost all the time I've played online games. People today are babies and it's not hard to ignore it so your feelings can't get hurt. I don't talk shit and have a fine time.
Just make sure you do the tutorials and probably do a few practice rounds with AI. Before going to competitive, stick in casual until you know how to play which will be a while. I'd say a good time to try making your way up the ladder is when you can do aerial hits somewhat reliably. I also prefer 2v2 and find 3v3 too hectic but stick to 3v3 in casual. Don't be afraid to watch some youtube videos of the more fundamental kind.

Doorkickers is a fantastic game. if you played the older Rainbow 6 games it is similar to the planning phases of each mission. Has five campaigns and a ton of single missions that are all pretty cool.

Dust has great gameplay, but the aesthetic is a bit of a turnoff for some.

Well, what's your instance on RNG in single-player RPGs? This metric is the single most-important one. If you hate dicerolls you will hate this game
a few extra things
>The game progression is quite slow and if you don't know and plan what you are doing it can get awfully grindy. But if you do it is not as bad as people make it out to be
>The game could use more enemy variety. Hard-level dungeons are just the same as apprentice-level ones except enemies (and bosses) have just buffed stats
That being said, the game has a really nice artstyle and music, Has a lot of things to try around with trinkets and party compositions, can get quite challenging and just as it is frustrating it can feel good when you kill a boss by the skin of your teeth
Personally I bought it when it was 50% off (Don't know how much it is now) and I have like 50 hours on it already. Wouldn't buy it full-price however

I like these games. I never got the appeal of the other games I listed. Goat sim was a gimmick fun for 5 mins then uninstall. I quickly learned never to buy games like that again.

It's good shit. The PvP can be hit or miss if you play against veterans who are defending objectives, but it's still great. The co-op is amazing, too, put the bots on expert and have fun.

I noticed that it really depends on the game. There's so many games that are clones of each other. Shooters are my favorite genre but have become same the old military, betrayal, bloody red screen shit (until Doom took it back to the old days). Try and find a game you think is quality and has good reviews (hint: it won't be COD). Also stop watching trailers. They don't represent the game anymore.
