You can find three various difficulties of them normal/hard and then omega. They are of each element. You can get decent farmable weapon pools from normal/hard versions. You can leech 5bp omegas whenever you can from the raid menu. You will get a weapon or summon eventually. You'll know it when you hear a sound and see a gold chest flip. Just keep playing events and getting weapons from them. You'll get there someday. I believe in you, anon.

You will have multiple teams later in the game. Your first element you build though is entirely based on RNG and what the game gives you early on. So you're water so it's to build water as you get more characters and weapons in the game.

Water is the second shittiest element in the game right now. It's perfectly playable, but when you get to rank 101 and need to do HLs, you might find yourself frustrated that you have very little to contribute compared to other elements.
And while it's optimal to have a team for every element, most people just pick a main element, since getting into multiple elements is a lot of investment.

If you're F2P and wanna go at it hardcore, it can be a little painful. It's gonna help out a lot if you're willing to spend some money on start dash and/or when a surprise ticket comes along. They make it so much easier to move into another element.

Almost same thing. Difference is that start dash comes up once a month until you buy it, while surprise ticket comes up every few months, allowing you to buy it once every time it comes up. And the selection is a little different, surprise ticket lets you pick from characters that are available right now, while start dash lets you pick from characters that were available when you started your account, which sometimes lets you pick some time-limited characters that are extremely hard to get otherwise.
Actually, if you're not too committed to your account or not confident you want to play water, it's worth considering starting an account in a few days when summerfest is on so you can start dash a summer limited.
