The amazing thing is that Logy isn't even that bad, he's actually pretty cool. Still, guy MCs in video games are an immediate threat to waifufags. Hell, people were worried about whatever the fat guy's name is in Atelier Sophie (haven't played it yet).
But more along Neptunia lines, almost no fans like the two male MCs. Although personally I found Manager more bearable than Secretary, since at least everyone wasn't gaga over Manager to start with.
That being said, I do like the male villains of Neptunia. I'm quite fond of Brave, Copy Paste and Anonydeath for example.

Maybe it's too much to ask to decide how to distribute stats on leveling up instead of getting small increases in everything. In the end I just bought the highest level items I could as I went along.
Ultimately it just felt hollow since to win you just needed a high enough level. Tactics, items, and party choice aren't nearly as important as that. Combine that with all the time wasted basically gambling on a resource point or monster dropping the rare item I needed.
