To put it simply:Brother is Zero. His name is actually Delta, Phi's twin brother. They are the children of Sigma and Diana, who had them while they were trapped in the facility in one of the timelines. Delta cannot SHIFT (jump around with his consciousness) but he can mind hack. It sounds dumb but it's what it says on the tin; he can read people's minds and control them to an extent. His goal in creating the decision game was to ensure his and Phi's existence (no Sigma/Diana trapped, no babies). His other goal was to help the players get the drive to find the terrorist who will make mankind go extinct. So in the end, Brother did nothing wrong in a way.
Bonus spoilers:Akane and Junpei are getting married and are working with Santa. Oh and no mention whatsoever of Alice or Clover unfortunately...
For Q team's triangle, there's a 4th option branching off, the solutions I've tried so far are Mira, Eric and nobody, am I being stupid and missing an obvious answer or will I get an answer later on?

I did find the ending underwhelming, though it's okay. The wild ride has been absolutely ridiculous though, gameplay wise it's the best, and the jumping fragments and diverse timelines makes for much bigger variety than VLR's repeating Quark and Alice situations, story and atmosphere in different segments are top notch.
I love the epilogue bits thoughespecially Q-team's, and Junpei being eternal cuck no more, too bad they're only as files.
Overall I like it better than VLR and it has the best gameplay, and besides the beginning it has good pacing, but 999 still has the best ending.

Junpei disagrees with her callousness at first before he says fuck it, and shows his usual recklessness by suggesting they jump to a fragment where they're about to be gunned down, claiming he has a plan.
Anyone else kinda get the feeling that it was supposed to beMira who was the terrorist? I know it's not explicitly stated, but all the circumstantial evidence really does seem to push towards it having just been her being her usual psycho self at first.

I think the main issue with why many people had so much trouble with that puzzle is the fact you can't really look at the shape of the unused pieces without picking them up first. It's just a giant mess where you can't properly tell where one piece starts and another ends. It helped me a lot when I drew out each piece on a piece of paper.

I personally like the Decisions much better than AB games because of variety, though I also really like the fragment structure since I can occasionally figure out what's going on while mainly being perpetually confused and intrigued.
Though I think something ZTD did better than VLR regardless of linearity is the differences between timelines. In VLR many situations would repeat or have similar events between the timelines, like Dio planting bombs, Quark getting infected and Alice murdered. In ZTD things branch off wildly all the time.

Ending: 999 > ZTD > VLR
General story and pacing I think it might be the best, actually, save the beginning and the end. The puzzles are reminiscent though harder than VLR, not always in a good way, but generally fun.
Fragment system and timeline is the best so far, lots of varying timelines, branches and mindscrew events, and I find the segments where you have no idea who's dead or what's happened work really well for the mystery genre.
The only cons to the linear timelines as I can see is that it can be hard to advance the story at times.
ZE/10, it's not perfect but it's pretty damn good.

Near computer there is one in top left which switch you to(i don´t know how the fuck is that called in english, you know that hook thing which scams you from money when you try to catch a teddy bear or something). Now apply mode B with sound to it. After that there will be a bunch of letters on small monitors. Check those 4 hints you got. Each contain some numbers. Apply those numbers to letters on small screens. From 1 to 14. Then start mode C and put those 14 letters in it. From then it´s almost autoplay.
