I am in the love camp. It does creepy and combat really well, and while the boss fights are dumb because 1hit kill, they are varied and fun. Story is average, but enjoyable.
The DLCs are worth it, but the executioner DLC is a little meh.

Wolfenstein is great. Somehow it's managed to have very visceral and satisfying gun/gameplay, decent variety due to both stealth and various other random little mix ups of gameplay, and good characters and world building, especially of BJ who was nothing before.

D44M is a really good shooter too, but it leans more towards pure gameplay than Wolfenstein. D44M has barely no story through cutscenes (there are about 4 times you can't just go to the next area due to cutscenes) and doesn't take your weapons away or force you to stealth because of story reasons.
Good selection of weapons, bretty good upgrade system for both your suit and weapons, great pacing, decent boss fights

The only DLC worth buying for 3 is Apex which adds an entire tropical island and stuff, but if you've never played Arma in your life I recommend holding off on that since it's nothing like Battlefield (or any other game).

D4 is incredible. It's not like DP in terms of gameplay at all. It's kind of like a Telltale game in. Like a modern day point and click adventure game with lots of dialogue options and shit. You may or may not, but it really depends. It does have some pretty good events, but I'll admit that I haven't played it for a while. It's quite sparse on small-scale planetary events, but has entertaining war.
I would recommend waiting for a sale in the future, perhaps after some more updates and expansions come in. The game will undoubtedly in the future have more content related to those things, as it's common for Paradox to have expansions focus on individual aspects of the game and touch them up heavily.
On another note, I would recommend EUIV if you wanna try a Paradox game, because it's really far into the dev cycle.

I just played half an hour of this and am honestly thinking about refunding. Yeah, it's just 4 bucks, but I generally like fun shooters, and this one just isn't.
I'm okay with the bad voice acting and corny story. The sword is kinda neat but feels weightless. The gunplay is surprisingly bland at best. The character swaying is making me go crazy, it's not head-bobbing, it's just remaining inertia that the character takes like 1 second to counteract.
Apart from that the levels are straight tunnels with with shitty layout and some annoying backtracking, the enemies are so-so on the bullet sponge scale, and I'm just bored.

Darkest Dungeon is fun, but can be real RNG bullshit. Sunless Sea has amazing writing, but the gameplay itself isn't fun.
It's gameplay versus writing, really. Sunless Sea is more immersive, but Darkest Dungeon has that XCOM-esque tactical combat that's challenging and fun. RNG will fuck you over in DD, while dying in Sunless Sea will force you to repeat content.
Both have clear disadvantages, both are great games. You'll probably get more time out of DD, but Sunless Sea will amaze you if you're the ready type like me.
