Gungeon was pretty damn sweet but it's still being heavily patched so wait for Xmas sale for that one. Shovel Knight is probably the most "completed" game on that list. Crypt has some replayability and Recettear is a little short but doubles as tycoon/hacknslash game.

Well you can buy all the mercs with ingame credits. Takes a while, but the free merc rotation changes every few weeks and you always have mercs for every role. The only real $$ exclusive stuff are probably some of the credit boosters, trinkets and some special cases with better chances for higher tier loadouts which are a waste of money. Don't waste real money on unlocking mercs until there's another humble bundle where you can jsut pay $1.

I just played through 2033 Redux for the first time. The stealth segments are fun, but the fights against mutants tend to be annoying. Part of that, though, is because they have a lot of health, but playing on higher difficulties increases your damage, so I'm guessing that would make the fights less frustrating.
