Gungeon was pretty damn sweet but it's still being heavily patched so wait for Xmas sale for that one. Shovel Knight is probably the most "completed" game on that list. Crypt has some replayability and Recettear is a little short but doubles as tycoon/hacknslash game.

I've been playing DS3 pretty much daily since launch and I've run into maybe two hackers.
I can't speak for two because I played it on PS3, and the servers are dead for one ever since GFWL shut down.

Well you can buy all the mercs with ingame credits. Takes a while, but the free merc rotation changes every few weeks and you always have mercs for every role. The only real $$ exclusive stuff are probably some of the credit boosters, trinkets and some special cases with better chances for higher tier loadouts which are a waste of money. Don't waste real money on unlocking mercs until there's another humble bundle where you can jsut pay $1.

Thinking of getting either Subnautica or the Long Dark
I've watched a few hoursof SN gameplay and it feels kind of easy pointless at the moment with there being no penalty (well you lose your items) to death. People I've watched just stopped playing because of the lack of content.
I know nothing about Long Dark other than "muh comfy". It's almost half the price of SN though.

Evil Within is worth it. Good action horror with the pacing somewhere between RE4 and 5. It's not a super deep Silent Hill-like psychological horror though and it was never meant to be.
You don't get the DLCs though for 10$, only the base game.
$24 is way too much for Helldivers especially since the multiplayer community might be completely dead by now.

I just played through 2033 Redux for the first time. The stealth segments are fun, but the fights against mutants tend to be annoying. Part of that, though, is because they have a lot of health, but playing on higher difficulties increases your damage, so I'm guessing that would make the fights less frustrating.

I just in general recommend Ittle Dew. It's like a 2d Zelda where there is a stronger puzzle focus. There's only 3 tools but the attention goes into giving them more complicated interactions and you can increase the puzzle difficulty by only using 2 (the game can be completed with any combination of 2 items).

The only new content are dlc weapons/armor and achievements. If the latter isn't important to you, you're trading in convenience for graphics that may or may not be worse than the original. It really bothered me that a game that had perfect menus/controls on the PC somehow was completely ruined for a remake several years later. The DLC are not only cosmetics, only the armor you get with it is. The weapons from class-packs are variations or new kinds of weapon, the weapons are balanced so you can find a new favorite in the class packs. It's a co-op game andyou can share weapons so everyone wins.
The viechle pack is a must because you a new mech, a tank and a motorcycle so you end up with 4 instead of just 1 choice.
Some high level missions requires you to kite bosses, or hold positions and for the the entrenchment pack is great, without iit you are pretty much stuck with mines.

Highly recommend duping the savefile at the end of every month in SP. DST is far more forgiving in that regard, and only in the most dire of situations do you need to outright restart.

I never played 2k15. I will tell you that career mode has some problems, basically there's a scripted story so from high school through college and your rookie season in the NBA you don't actually get to play much (only 8 games in the first season) and there are cutscenes between each game. I thought the story was entertaining enough (probably because I couldn't stop laughing at my white character still having a black family and black voice actor), but it's written and directed by Spike Lee so know that going in. Regular career basically doesn't start until your second season after the story is over. And the opposing team AI cheats and rubberbands like a motherfucker when your team stands around like retards. It's a fun game, and outside career it's fine, but I hope 2017 goes in a different direction there.

Anyways, RoG is basically mandatory. DST is a bit different than DS/DS: RoG, mostly with scaling costs for MP, HP, etc. etc. for the number of people. I preferred playing the game alone, since there's alot of parts that tickled my autism in MP (NO DON'T PUT THAT FARM THERE FUUUUCK) and, like in Monopoly, it's probably an easy way to lose friends.
Play RoG first, Shipwrecked is generally harder, and a couple of the Shipwrecked-exclusive characters is like playing on super duper hard mode.
Oh yeah, may as well mention, but there's also a 'campaign' of such with a plot, the start of which hidden in your generated world. If you die in the Campaign, you just get spat out, so no worries about that.
The Shipwrecked DLC is more like a standalone expansion pack than DLC, since it alters the game substantially, far more than RoG ever did (even if it isn't standalone, though it initially was going to be).

Maybe I'm a bit sour from spending $30 on it at release, but the game is horribly optimized, empty as hell, and most the time playing with friends just involves shooting every player you come across which gets extremely boring. The zombies are non-existent, and encounters with other players are really rare unless you go to the hotspots where you're likely to get sniped from a distance. Despite what other anon said, it is 100% possible to have your party be full health lvl 6 and a lucky crit instantly death's door one of your party members to have them permadie when they get hit again. There's no fail condition, and there's certainly a lot of strategy involved in the late game content, but it can also RNG fuck you.

First one is about reflexes and the second one is about memorization.
Also all masks are available to you in HLM1 but only a few at a time in HLM2.
Not going to lie I prefer HLM2 because it's clearly more-polished but I see why people don't like it.

13 has some laughable characters, but the gameplay is pretty fun and the world(s) is cool. Watch some gameplay footage and see if it appeals to you. People will tell you it's just mashing X, but so is every RPG ever. The Paradigm system is a fairly natural progression of ATB.
The second one is okay because it has pokemon catch-the-monsters mechanics, but the story and the two human party members are shit. The plot is time traveling fan service. Paradigm system is more refined in this one.
Lightning Returns is trash, just google the costumes and fap to them if that's what you wanted.

2 is WAY harder. And the levels do not allow for any sort of freedom, they are each designed very specifically for the characters you have to play them with the first time through. It's a good game and very tightly designed, but I think a lot of people got butt blasted by how much more difficult it is and wanted the masks back instead of the multiple different characters. Great soundtrack too.
