Yes. It's fun, gory, and the graphics are amazing if you can run it maxed out. The story is also quite good. Maybe a bit predictable, but satisfying. I enjoyed it and $5 is a steal, I paid 20 a year ago.

I thought Overwatch's success was just a meme based on the shitposting of this board, but to be honest it's great. If you enjoyed TF2, you'll love overwatch as it improves on the game in just about every way. Shame Valve stuck with minuscule cosmetic updates and gun skins rather than making a solid sequel to the title without all the bullshit microtransactions.
Maybe It's because I'm not that much into Triple A action games, but I've found this to be a really good Summer Sale. I've found everything on my wishlist to have a very fair sale (60-90% off for games a couple years old, and 30-70% off for newer games). Despite everyone else being disappointed, I feel this is an excellent year, especially for Indie games. Maybe it's just me, but I think there's a ton of good stuff here.

It was fun to try out some new shit and unlock some cosmetics with the cheevo points.

Not really. It's extremely rough, just got out of early access but feels like it needed another 6 months of development at least. Will probably be drowned in a metric fuck ton of dlc within the next few months and the gameplay itself gets old really fast. Just another asymetrical multiplayer game that won't have a playerbase outside of free weekends.

If you liked City/Origins, yes. The worst of the performance issues are fixed. I'm not a huge fan of the batmobile but it's still a good game worth $20-30.

Endless Legend, Dark Souls, and Rainbow Six Siege are all great games that essentially cover all the bases of your selection there. Those three alone will keep you entertained for quite a while. FTL and Revengeance are also good and cheap.

Honestly though, DD is a very unique experience and is the closest to a full action Japanese high fantasy adventure that you can get.

Free on PS4 this month. I've been playing all week, it's great. Except the opposing team AI in career mode cheats and rubber bands like a motherfucker whole your teammates AI is utterly brain-dead. Doesn't matter what team you play for or against, you will get Jewed by the AI. Overall a fun game though and the Spike Lee directed story is actually kind of good (if not unintentionally hilarious if you play as a non-black character since the voice and his family remain the same). Don't know if the PC version is a good port or not, but it is a good game.

Haven't played dark soul but I can vouch for dragon dogma as one of best combat games I played alot of classes and skills and you can make your own party hireing people pawns and so on.

I put 45 hours into it, is pretty fun to play around and do certain scenarios differently but doesn't have to much replayability unless you use the workshop.
The game relies on using different characters with different attributes to replay the same map.

I had alot of fun with it when it first came out, but if you're the type of person to play a newly bought game religiously you'll get burned out pretty quick.
There's a lot of strategy in maximizing efficiency and can be pretty overwhelming if you decide to peruse the wiki before you get into it.

performance is bad once you build too many things, but if you dont plan on playing 500+ hours on the same save file, you should be okay. Planets still have some bugs but they arent completely broken anymore.

Mordheim is bretty good. Atmosphere is great. When it first launched it had massive load time issues but they seem ok now.
The turn based and skills function feel a bit clunky and the character models don't have that much visual customization.
But the ruleset and skills are cool.
For me it scratches that "character investment" itch in the same way as games like FTL, XCOM and Blood Bowl do. You'll have guys die and get injured to bullshit RNG but it's all part of the fun and when you pull off those difficult victories it feels sweet. lots of skill customization and stuff.
