Trunks came from the year 783, 20 years back into the past at age 17, so back to 763.
3 Years passed until the Android/Cell Sagas, so 766 before Trunks came back (he's still 17).
He spent 2 days/2 years in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, so now he's 19 and it's still 766.
He goes back to his time of 784 and kills the androids. 3 years later, he kills Cell. He's now 22 and it's the year 787.
In the other timeline, 7 years pass until the Buu Saga, so it's 773 in that timeline.
Dragonball Super begins at 778-780 (where it is currently). However in Future Trunks' timeline in Super it's 784, meaning this is right after he killed the Androids, however it can't be seeing as how he's already been dealing with Black for a year, making him 23. This also means Imperfect Cell has somehow survived Black's assault on the Earth. And it also means that Kid Trunks is 15 and Goten 14 now. Which makes no sense as half-saiyans seem to grow relatively normally, or more normally, and we've seen Future Trunks at 14 when Future Gohan died.

OP here, a little more news on DBF: The game has a StreetPass function. If you obtain data from other players, it will automatically make fusions if the characters set have good compatibility.
Also, a bit more info on the combat:
- There’s 3 types of energy (though, it doesn't what the types are)
- If you attack with an effective type, you can deal 1.5% more damage (a la Pokemon)
- There's a "Full-Throttle Attack" where the combo is different from normal attacks

Except Toriyama having more creative control is precisely why we have that bullshit. He said multiple times on record that he hated putting on so much detail in the past, the only reason he made SSJ golden is because he hated inking the hair for example. The issue with Goku overcoming it, is that Goku is moving faster than he can react too, so Goku was already in his face by the time it activated and still moving forward. Funimation finished the Buu saga dub like a year or two ago. A couple of voice actors mentioned working at it.
We probably haven't seen it yet because Funimation made a deal with Toonami to show the Buu Saga there first before a DVD/Blu-Ray release. Problem is the dub on Toonami is still on Androids/Cell saga era.
