The lore is fairly underplayed.
Also, it's not a dating sim. You can't romance any of the girls despite the MC being really into some of them, which is frustrating but not terrible.
But despite all of the above, the atmosphere and characters make it worth it.
If you're in doubt there's the demo and there's a mega upload floating around somewhere, it's been posted in every thread so far.
Its my game of the year, easily. Its not some great epic but it has lot of charm and atmosphere to it. The lore is there to set the stage but the story really is about the regular ass people coming to the bar, and about the bartender who is her own character instead of a self-insert.

I'm enjoying it, the description of it being a visual novel isn't far off but the setting is interesting and the conversations are comfy. There is a little bit of satisfaction in working out some round about order someone made or remembering their preference.
It's hard to recommend to some people, I mean it has a prostitute robot that specializes in roleplaying underaged girls and her model number starts with DFC. I don't mind the memes and references but some people are going to be turned off by those. Works alright for me though.
Worth a pirate, after playing it for a while I'm considering actually buying it because this shit is niche as hell and the dev made something I like so it's probably not going to get much support otherwise.

I like the game, but no way. Despite being a pretty decent length, it's still far too brief. More than a few characters are underutilised and Jill's character arc is too dependent on Lenore. Coping with the loss of a loved one is the sort of thing that should be established at the beginning, so the character has a chance to grow more effectively over the course of story, introducing it more than half-way through kind of hurt it as a result.
I wouldn't say it's wasted potential, but it could have been so much more. I kind of hope the devs are aware of that and try to build on it.

No, it's not worth it. For a VN with one route it's way too fucking short. The actually story also happens to be a boring slog. The plot threads introduced by the side characters are way more interesting but barely end up mattering in the slightest. I suppose this is done on purpose because you're not some Mary Sue main character, you're just a bartender, but it doesn't change the fact that the story is just plain boring. There are multiple "endings" if you can call them that, but it's really just an additional scene at the end if you did everything right for a certain side character.
The gameplay itself is monotonous and rarely engages you enough in order to actually be interesting. Even if you make it harder on yourself by keeping Jill distracted you're just making what you're told 90% of the time. Occasionally you're thrown a curveball in the form of a riddle, and there are a few customers who have favorite drinks that they prefer even if they don't order them, but these are the exception rather than the rule.
This game is NOT worth your money. Papers Please is the exact same game but more engaging and interesting. So unless you're just here for the cyberpunk setting they barely touch on or you just want some anime lesbians, just download the OST and play Papers Please.

Atmosphere and lore are 10/10. Writing fluctuates between off-kilter to good. Characters bounce around between light-hearted anime tropes to genuinely interesting people in a cyberpunk madhouse. Game ends abruptly as fuck though, and right when it feels like it's building up for a second high rise no less. I'd recommend it if you like cyberpunk, but not for waifubait. The girls are likable but they didn't strike me as particularly pandering, unless you consider the happy-go-lucky prostitute /v/'s definition of a pure maiden.
