I'm a Refn fanboy, I love all his movies (Bronson, Drive, Pusher, etc). They are very different. Don't go in expecting another Drive. This one is more melancholy and slow-paced. No action scenes that are gonna get your heart pumping, but some that are gonna get your dick hard. It does have some cool scenes. I suggest not watching the trailer and just watch a TV spot, if you have to.

It would be a simple fix, too; Steam could just put a hold on games where if you bought them, you couldn't rebuy them for 48 hours after the refund was issued.
It would prevent refunding a sale-purchased game to catch a 6-hour daily sale price, and would have no impact on "proper" use of refunds (since most people who req refunds don't ever intend to rebuy the game, and it wouldn't slow down the reissue of money to Steam wallets).

It's not terrible. It would say it's worth a playthrough if you like Dead Rising. It's really easy and time really is not a factor in this game. They do give you a time limit but you can fuck around and still get a good ending. Craft was made easier and there's a weapon spawn system that makes the game much much easier. But it's fun if you got a buddy or just like dead rising. Runs kinda wonky, but I dunno if updates had optimized it.

I had fun with it, but didn't finish, and the major complaints are pretty valid. There's no freedom to play as you want, each level is specifically designed for specific characters (no masks this time) so trying to play any other way isn't really viable. It's the difficulty of the first game ramped up to a thousand because of how stringent and exacting every mission requires you to play. Still fun though if you can live with the greater difficulty and more specific playstyles. And the soundtrack is awesome.

The coal sale let you get coal for achievements in games. There was a free objective each day and the rest required owning certain games - like the potato sack if you remember that. You could turn coal into coupons (including golden coupons that let you stack with the sale) and into full games. Humble Bundle obviously had a christmas bundle so people just bought bundles for a penny and kept getting achievements until they had tons of coal. Autists literally ended free games from sales AND caused humble bundle to put in a dollar limit for steam keys.
The gem sale had market manipulation since Steam put in gems and then immediately had that huge event instead of balancing first. There were several items that you could purchase, turn into gems, and then sell for effectively infinite steam bucks until the wells ran dry. They had to roll back the entire market after the first day of the sale and it killed everyone's enthusiasm at that point.
