I'm really pissed off about the use of koopalings as the bosses in this game because it shows 2 things:
1. the fact that they're trying to appeal to the super casual NSMB crowd
2. the mario games are becoming more and more formulaic then ever
Their appearance in SSS was a nice throwback, but now more than ever every time they show up it just screams "we don't care". After all why come up with original bosses and characters when you can just use placeholder character's you've had since the 80s?
Not to mention any appearance basically guarantees that bowser is 100% the end boss.

I just re-tried Sticker Star for the first time to try and see if I can actually like it. It's very bad. I went through and peeled off over a dozen fucking toads just to move to the next area and fight an enemy. I immediately realize after my first unscripted random battle that there is just really, absolutely no reason to fight.
You find stickers to battle.
You battle to waste stickers and get coins.
You buy coins to get more stickers.
What the fucking fuck, man? Why did they fucking annihilate this series so badly? It is so fucking butchered that I think I am just ready to be clear with myself and just delete this fucking game and never think about it again.
I think that Color Splash will be redeemed, very loosely, based on it's battle system. If battles are pointless in CS just like SS, it's over. I'm done.
