It's not that bad. The core gameplay and running from the first one is still there, and the city can be entertaining to run around in, if a bit small. It's also pretty to look at, but so was the original. The story is extremely cringeworthy, but it doesn't impact the gameplay that much. I really wish they expanded on the mechanics of the first one more. All in all, I kind of regret paying $45 for it, but it's still pretty fun.

It's fucking incredible despite early fears. Regard anyone who says otherwise in the same way as you would someone who dislikes the latest DOOM: ignore them completely.
