Mario's still the face of video games, but his recent releases have all been forgettable.

The 2D games are a joke, the 3D games are just the 2D games but in 3D, the RPGs are a joke, and the spinoffs are slipping in quality.

Sure, nobody's going to say he has it as Bad as Sonic since the games are still enjoyable, but they're absolutely not memorable even a little bit.
