It has been generally agreed upon that console multiplats are pretty great (Timesplitters, Mercenaries, The Darkness 1, and of course your triggering Red Dead Redemption), almost timeless masterpieces. Most PC users don't steal mods. For one thing they have no reason to. Mods are free. PC modding is also a community effort so if someone tries to claim credit for another person's mod it's quickly found out and scorned.
A lot of console users don't seem to understand any of this. Yeah, there's a lot of PC elitism here, but those people don't do any of what they are complaining about console users doing in this thread.
