I'm feeling like when TGS rolls around we'll get an announcement of a DLC pack that features at least two of the girls. Maybe it'll be Leifang or Tina, or one popular girl and one less girl. Bundling the girls at the bottom like Christie and Mila with a more popular girl is a great way to lessen the risk.

Just take 5 minutes and create a Hongkong account then make the PS4 your primary system. Swimsuits provided as update data are downloaded as updates and purchasable, but things like the free Honoka swimsuit have to be "bought" on a HK account linked to the system.

If you want to buy tickets, you have to play on a HK account. And while you don't necessarily need multiples of the suits, keep in mind you'll have to re-wrap them as the girl and gift it to another if you want them to use it.

DOA5 was great, and the best in the series like you said. With X3 I can understand why they put so little effort and resources into it. Xtreme is a niche spin-off that only sells with diehard fans of DOA, and the first two games didn't sell great. I think they made it just to fulfill that obligation and expectation for an X3, and the fact it's the best selling in the series (or very close to that) was a shock. We'll have to see how much effort they put into it going forward.

I didn't dispute that. My point was that I think they were intentionally lazy and half-assed it because they totally believed it wouldn't sell and a waste of resources. We need to see where the go with it in terms of real DLC support once the VR is done. That doesn't excuse them for shipping a shitty game, but in this case I think DLC can fix it.
