I didn't hate my time playing it. The mechanics of being able to raise/lower drawbridges and barricades made car chases fairly fun.
Also good for RPing a psychopath that killed all people that fit a certain demographic based on scanning their phone.
It wasn't 10/10, but it was ok for wasting a few hours. Only get it if you can get it cheap.

Don't know if I'd expect much of a modern developer, to make such a pure game. They'd have to make multiplayer, achievements, unlocks, and weapon stats, etc. To please as many people as they can.
