Yeah, is it supposed to be like this? I'm fighting levels 18+ as a level 7, where the only thing that can do damage is giving bombs to party members to use (who get hit for 80% HP the second they go out of defensive).

I dunno, I thought E&L was pretty bad. It was like if you took Mana Khemia and then made all the characters boring. Still better than MK since you could summon boss monsters whenever you wanted and fighting those was fun enough, but everything else was just fucking dull.

How would you say the current Atelier games (ps3 and up) compare to the Mana Khemia games on ps2? I really enjoyed those but I feel lime I've missed the boat on all these newer titles and don't know where to start.
